Bansko Nomad Fest Speaker
2026

Mary Grace Nguyen

If you’ve ever lived the digital-nomad life, you’ll know how fast everything moves — the friendships, the connections, the chemistry, the goodbyes. In a lifestyle where we’re constantly meeting new people from totally different cultures, it can be hard to slow down long enough to actually check in with ourselves… or communicate clearly with someone else. In this talk, I get real about what sex, intimacy, and consent actually look like when your life is transient and emotionally intense. We’ll unpack the power dynamics that show up without us noticing, the cultural expectations we often misread, and how our nervous system reacts when we’re moving from place to place. I’ll share honest stories from my years on the road, the somatic tools that changed how I connect with others, and practical ways to set boundaries without killing the vibe. My goal is simple: to help you create safer, clearer, more intentional connections — whether you’re meeting someone for one night, one month, or one country at a time.

Mary Grace Nguyen is a global digital nomad, somatic-embodiment practitioner, and content strategist who has lived and travelled across 56 countries. She teaches boundary-setting, trauma-aware communication, and emotional self-regulation for nomads navigating intimacy and relationships on the road. With 11+ years in tech copywriting and a background in somatic training, she blends lived experience with practical frameworks for safer human connection.
