Learn something useful
Exchange practical experience, tools and ideas you can use beyond the session.
Free and open to everyone
Born at BNF. Now online.
At Bansko Nomad Fest, some of the most valuable conversations happen during our participant-led unconference sessions. Instead of BNF deciding the entire programme, community members propose the topics they want to explore.
An unconference turns the traditional conference model around. Participants propose sessions, the community votes with hearts, and BNF creates a balanced final programme. Session hosts guide an open conversation rather than delivering a traditional presentation.
We are bringing that experience online so the global nomad community can meet, learn and contribute throughout the year—from anywhere in the world.
You don’t just attend an unconference. You help create it.

From idea to conversation
The community supplies the ideas. BNF keeps the programme relevant, varied and welcoming.
Open the event page, register at no cost and create your BNF community profile.
Suggest a question, challenge, skill or experience you would like to explore with others.
Browse the proposals and heart the conversations you would most like to join.
We combine community interest with quality, relevance and variety.
After the welcome, choose one of the parallel sessions for each round.
Listen, ask questions, share experience and help the group discover something together.
Host a conversation
Bring a useful topic, a few opening questions and a willingness to involve everyone. A host facilitates the discussion; they do not need to have every answer.
Explore a question or development that matters to the nomad community.
Help participants practise a skill, method or way of thinking.
Bring a real challenge and invite the group to develop possible solutions.
Share practical experience and invite others to contribute what has worked for them.
Come to create value for the group—not to create sales leads.
Unconference sessions may not be used to sell or promote:
You may briefly explain your background or company when it provides useful context. The session itself must remain focused on knowledge sharing and open discussion. BNF may edit, reject or remove proposals that do not follow these principles.
Live on Zoom
One Zoom meeting, two session rounds and the freedom to choose the conversation that interests you most.
Everyone enters through the same Zoom link. Keep the BNF event page open so you can see the programme and host profiles.
