Community Builder of the Year
Recognises an individual who:
- Actively connects people within the nomad community.
- Creates opportunities for meaningful relationships and collaboration.
- Initiates or supports community activities.
- Demonstrates consistent commitment to an inclusive community.
Positive Impact Award
Recognizes an individual or organisation that:
- Creates measurable or meaningful positive change.
- Supports social, environmental or community initiatives.
- Demonstrates responsible and ethical practices.
- Inspires others to contribute positively.
Destination / Local Initiative of the Year
Recognises a destination or local initiative that:
- Creates a welcoming environment for digital nomads.
- Supports integration between nomads and local residents.
- Develops services, activities or infrastructure for the community.
- Contributes positively to the local economy and culture.
Best Coworking Space
Recognises a coworking space that:
- Provides a reliable and comfortable working environment.
- Offers opportunities for networking and collaboration.
- Supports the needs of remote professionals.
- Contributes to the local nomad community.
Best Coliving Space
Recognises a coliving space that:
- Provides suitable accommodation for location-independent people.
- Creates opportunities for social interaction and community.
- Offers a positive balance between private space and shared activities.
- Demonstrates hospitality and care for residents.
Remote Team / Company
Recognises a company or team that:
- Demonstrates effective remote-working practices.
- Builds a strong and inclusive distributed team culture.

HOW IT WORKS
From nomination to celebration
Nominate
Choose a category and tell us who or what deserves recognition. Share their contribution and a few examples or links that help us understand it.
Assessment and voting
Submissions will be reviewed for eligibility. Selection will combine category expertise, community voting, and a separate jury. We’ll share the full criteria and voting details before we begin assessment and voting.
Celebrate
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 19 June 2027 in Bansko, ahead of Bansko Nomad Fest.
